Golspie is one of the most varied experiences on the trail. The round shifts between coastal links, heathland and parkland, creating a constant change in texture, scenery and shot-making. Sea and mountain views keep the setting unmistakably Highland throughout.
James Braid was invited to make his mark on Golspie in the 1920s, and the course still celebrates that influence today. Its mixture of terrain makes it a particularly revealing place to see how strategic design can adapt to very different landscapes within a single round.
