A different side of Highland golf.
Muir of Ord delivers a traditional inland Highland experience on rolling ground north of Inverness. The course has long been associated with James Braid and blends strategic shot values with a friendly, village-club atmosphere that suits the spirit of a touring trail.
Braid’s name is woven into the club’s identity, and the course is a good illustration of his preference for working with natural valleys and ground movement. The challenge comes from position, contour and the quality of the next shot rather than sheer scale.
