Fortrose & Rosemarkie sits on the narrow Chanonry Peninsula, creating one of the trail’s most distinctive settings. The sea is never far away, the wind changes direction as the holes turn around the point, and the compact routing demands accuracy and imagination.
Braid redesigned the course in 1932, bringing his strategic eye to a club with a much older golfing history. The result is a concise, characterful links where the coastline, small targets and changing breeze constantly influence the ideal line of play.
